Think cozy cotton flannel pjs for Christmas morning or a cute denim skirt for yourself! This class is perfect for the true beginner or the lapsed sewer needing a refresher course. You will complete an elastic waisted pair of pants or skirt and learn the fundamentals of garment construction along the way.

Working from Shea Henderson's book, School of Sewing, we'll tackle the first four projects. Including a pillow case, a drawstring bag, an apron and a key fob! Below are examples from School of Sewing, photographed by Lauren Hunt, for inspiration on how great these simple projects can turn out!

Beginning Sewing Part 2 

 Continuing to work from Shea Henderson's book, School of Sewing, we'll tackle three projects. Including a zippered pouch, a zippered and bound pillow and the perfect tote bag. 

Getting to Know Your Machine

ALL our classes assume you have basic knowledge of your sewing machine.

Do you know how to wind the bobbin?
How to thread your machine?
How to select stitch length?
How to backstitch?
If you answered NO to any of these questions this class is for you!
 
CLASS POLICIES
Class fees are required at time of registration.
Each class has a minimum number of students, sign up early to avoid class cancellation.
No refunds are issued unless Sarah's Fabrics cancels a class.
Students must be at least 16 years old unless otherwise stated.
